Quotes from Final Fantasy XIII Scenario Ultimania
“The game’s linearity was just because depicting towns and so on like we did before was impossible to do on an “HD” console – it was too much work.
Nomura had hardly anything to do with it; he just did character design and commercials, not even the intro or movies.
The game was designed with DLC in mind but we don’t actually have any planned.
It was easy to port to the Xbox. Porting to...

Sorry, He's Not A Bad Guy...
Jim Sterling was just jealous of the size of the officers coffin, realizing he’d have to use something bigger when he finally passes, like a shark cage or the crates they use to ship Volkswagen Beetles overseas.

Sometimes I Wonder What It Would Be Like To Be Jim...
Living in a world of unwarranted self-importance and total self-delusion. It must be a fantastic mindset to have. The entire world would revolve around me and I would be able to look in the mirror and see something that no one else sees: a decent human being.
But then I realized my new Adidas would get broken down by his cankles. So fuck that shit.

Final Fantasy XIII's Battle System
My impression of Final Fantasy XIII’s battle system? It’s just like Kingdom Hearts’battle system minus the ability to move around. You have three characters on screen, two of which are A.I. controlled, and you wait to attack. I can see some similarities between FFXIII and Final Fantasy X-2’s battle system given the layout of the battle screen and the way the characters...

CES, Chanh & The Guardians of the Universe
Over the past few days I’ve seen a lot of great photos of friends who went to CES. It’s always great to see friends having a good time, even if I couldn’t make it out there to be with them. But I couldn’t help but notice something: There are almost no photos of Chanh. Now, there are two totally reasonable explanations for this and one explanation that I came up with on my...

Fuck off, Dick Ebersol
joemuto:
What a putz:
The verbal battle in the late-night wars got louder Thursday as a top NBC executive struck back against on-air attacks on the network’s once and future “Tonight Show” host Jay Leno.
The executive, Dick Ebersol, chairman of NBC Universal Sports, said the reason for Mr. Leno’s return to NBC’s late-night roster after a short stint in prime time this season was a simple one:...

Conan O’Brien Says He Won’t Do ‘Tonight Show’... →
Everyone is saying “Leno is a nice guy” and “it’s not Leno’s fault,” but he has really outstayed his welcome. And Conan’s current ratings are around if not better than the ratings Leno’s Tonight Show started off with.

'SPIDER-MAN 4' SCRAPPED; SAM RAIMI & TOBEY MAGUIRE... →
comicbooks:
This means that Raimi and the cast including star Tobey Maguire are out. There will be no Spider-Man 4. Instead, the studio will focus on a reboot script by Jamie Vanderbilt with a new director and a new cast.
THANK GOD!

My solution to the 'Late Nite' problem*
*If we all lived in a perfect world.
Step 1: Conan steps down from The Tonight Show and gives it back to Leno.
Step 2: Letterman steps down from The Late Show and passes the true ‘Late Nite’ torch to Conan. (I don’t like Letterman at the moment, but used to be the best.)
Step 3: The rest stays the way it is.
Conclusion: With Conan O’Brien and Craig Ferguson, CBS in now...

Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld is the only thing on Fox News worth watching that doesn’t give me an aneurysm or make me suicidal.
I love Red Eye. It, too, is the only thing I can watch on FOX News. And now that I think about it, I can’t think of anything remotely watchable on MSNBC…
FOX News: 1 MSNBC: 0
…go figure.
